While they may be trying a hipster-look with the decor, this is a TRUE rib shack! The owner knows his meats and the sauces to accompany them. If you skip on this joint you are losing out on some of the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi.

BEST BBQ tasted in Florida. A huge menu! Got flavorful & moist St. Louis ribs, brisket & chopped pork. Generous portions. Do try this relatively new BBQ out; it's fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

This is my new favorite bbq place in central Florida. When we pulled up, you could smell the wood fires and the delicious food they were making. The owner was outside talking to other customers. He was very nice and thanked us multiple times for stopping in. The selection of food is very surprising for it being small. We had the four meat and four side feast which fed both my fiance and me with so much left that we had it for dinner and there was still some left over for the next day. The ribs were out of this world as was the brisket - no knock to the chopped pork which was good as well. The collard greens were incredible, the Mac n cheese was so cheesy I fell in love with it. The baked beans had amazing flavor and, I’m not a huge fan of it normally, but the new Brunswick stew was killer. We travelled about an hour to try this place out and will be back again and again, it’s that good. The prices were amazing too. Large amount of food, incredible flavor, you should check it out if you love great bbq.

Small place, outdoor seating only. They do run out of ribs frequently. And they're closed for the summer. But the BBQ is FABULOUS! Worth the trip. Renninger's Antique Mall and Flea Market are across the highway. So we usually make a day of it. We had brisket sandwiches, and it was some of the best BBQ we've ever had. We will definitely go back!

Went to acme rib shack to get some much needed bbq before work. I was blown away. Brisket and pork on point. Collards were on point. Brunswick stew was the best I have ever had. And I've been to Brunswick. A whole slew of amazing sauces and their North Carolina Mustard sauce was incredible. If you guys want bbq and want to support local, check them out.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. I loved the brisket; it was the perfect level of smokey, juicy goodness without being too fatty. Honestly all the meats were phenomenal, but I was soooo impressed with the brisket. We loved all the sides we had. The baked beans were awesome and had a nice spice and sweetness to them. I loved the pork flavor on the collard greens and the Brunswick stew was flavorful and filling. I would happily drive the hour to get here again!

Outstanding! Good, clean, delicious barbecue. Not over or under seasoned. You can taste the meats for what they are and they are well accompanied by their seasonings. Tender yet not mushy or overly rendered. Just really nice and well prepared barbecue with clean simple flavors. Nothing hidden or masked by sauce. I enjoy the spare ribs without sauce as they're tender and seasoned just right (salt and pepper) and have a lovely light smoke. The brisket is outstanding. It's cooked to a medium perfection and really requires no sauce. It's incredibly tender with just the right amount of bite (as are both style of ribs). The coleslaw is classic southern American and delicious without being over dressed. It has a nice cabbage crunch. The lovely husband and wife make a great team and they really know how to make simple, clean and delicious barbecue. They're also incredibly polite and welcoming. I drive about forty miles one way for their take out and always get plenty to share. I highly recommend anyone make an outing or easy road trip for this glutinous treat. The portions are more than generous for the price. The meats are well wrapped and travel home just fine without loosing quality. As for the brisket sandwich, it's awesome, and for the quality it's more than well priced. My waistline appreciates their limited hours.
